MICRO Receives Environmental Stewardship Recognition
On July 29, 2014, an inspection was conducted at MICRO by the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection. At this time, it was determined that the Somerset, New Jersey manufacturing facility was engaged in or had completed activities eligible for recognition under the state’s Environmental Stewardship Program.
As a result, the Department has formally recognized the voluntary and proactive measures MICRO has taken in an effort to improve the environment and ensure a sustainable future. The attached Certificate of Stewardship reflects the Department’s appreciation of the company’s efforts.
The recognition certificate focuses on MICRO’s Environmental Policy, Environmental Management System, and its Hazardous Materials Reduction.
