APQP
APQP stands for Advanced Product Quality Planning, a structured method we apply to define and execute the actions necessary to ensure that every product we produce satisfies our customers completely. APQP utilizes a multidisciplinary team approach to facilitate communication between all personnel and activities involved in five critical phases of product development and manufacturing: project definition, tool design and development, process design and development, validation and, ultimately, production. An APQP cross-functional team meets and works together to ensure that all required steps are completed on time and at acceptable cost and quality levels.
