Nelson Orellana
Nelson Orellana began working for MICRO 12 years and started right out of high school. He started as a product technician and grew naturally in other roles. Invited for the Company’s Apprenticeship program, Nelson is now working in the most skilled area, The Tool Room. Nelson has truly appreciated the opportunities afforded to him at MICRO that he has since referred his mom, brother, sister-in-law and cousin who all now work for the Company too. He feels that MICRO is “heaven compared to his other job, a very safe place to work, and gives people the opportunity to grow.”
John (Warren) Macatangay
Warren Macatangay came to MICRO following a career as a personal banker with a lifelong desire to work with his hands. He started as a saw operator in MICRO’s tubing department, learning mechanical skills through on-the-job training. Warren went on to learn tubing set-up and apprenticed in the tool room. Now a Tool and Die Maker for the last 10 years, he is grateful for the opportunities and skills training afforded to him. Warren describes MICRO as “a place of opportunity” – fair, understanding and respectful of its employees.
John Walski

Starting in the Company’s Apprenticeship Program, John values the job security offered and the opportunities to be constantly challenged while learning new skills and operations. He describes MICRO as a family-oriented company that appreciates and values its employees.
