Escape the cold this February with MICRO in sunny Anaheim, CA at MD&M West 2016, the world’s largest medical design and manufacturing event. MD&M West is the “can’t miss” event of the medical device industry, and MICRO will be exhibiting at booth #3040.
This year MICRO will feature fabricated tube assemblies, metal injection molding (MIMs) and precision machining.
Tubing Fabrication
MICRO offers a full range of low-cost, high-quality tubing solutions with capabilities including flaring and flanging, expansions and reductions, piercing and slotting, precision sharpening, electropolishing, and laser welding. Our patented rolled tube technology and automated work cells enable us to meet customer requirements. Using raw materials from our own tube mill allows us to reduce costs on high-volume, disposable instruments.
Metal Injection Molding (MIM)
MIM combines the shaping capability of plastic injection molding with the material flexibility of conventional powder metallurgy. There are many advantages to using the MIM technology including greater design freedom and miniaturization. It is also ideal for the high-volume production of small, complex precision parts and parts that require assembly or a multiple step assembly.
Precision Machining
Quality is key at MICRO. To make sure customers receive the highest quality parts, MICRO recently expanded its precision machining center. It now boasts over 12,000 square feet of manufacturing space and features high-speed milling, Swiss turning CNC lathes, four- and five- multi axis machines and a third PEM electrolytic dissolution work cell. The expansion enables MICRO to increase capacity and enhance capabilities.
